Bowling with South East Maccabi is a great way to get the most out of Tenpin
Bowling, and there's nothing like a bit of competition to turn those spares into
strikes. Bowling is a great way to meet new friends and to have a great night
out.
HOW DOES LEAGUE BOWLING WORK ?
You may think that you have to be a great athlete to join this league, but in fact
we welcome all abilities and don't worry if you have never bowled a 300 game
before, because a typical bowlers average is somewhere between 100 and
140 pins per game, so you don't have to be a pro to bowl in this league.
We bowl most Sunday's and start practise at 6pm
FORMAT
1 man team with a 2 game format taking roughly 1.5 hours
HANDICAPS
League bowling has adopted a system of handicapping, just like golf. This is
designed to make league bowling more competitive between teams and
individuals of varying skill levels.

Naomi Baram was the winner of the South East Maccabi Junior Mothers Day Tournament played last Sunday. Naomi bowled a 168 game giving her a 429 series with Handicap. Jayme Davis had the highest game for the boys with 138 followed by Guy Wasserstrom with 135. Ben Baron had a great 123 game and both Alex Hirsch and Benjamin Avirame bowled games over their averages. |
